Lets be honest here they will love it because they would be happy if you gave them a stick. The holidays are fast approaching so I won't waste your time. Let's jump right into it.

Bedsure Egg Crate Foam Dog Bed with Removable Cover

This is an orthopedic foam dog bed and with 4 and a half stars and over 1400 reviews this is sure to be a hit. Plus all pet owners know if there is one thing to be valued with this it is that the cover comes off and is machine washable!

Mudbuster Portable Dog Paw Cleaner

You have definitely seen videos of these. All you do is add a little water, stick your dogs dirty paw in, twist and dab the paw dry. This has tons of positive reviews and is sure to clean your dogs muddy paws this winter season.

Hide a Squirrel

My dog has this and he absolutely loves it . If I had the patience to put the squirrels back in the holes all day he would play with it for that long. This comes in different sizes but I believe the squirrels are all the same sizes so it would work for any dog.

Dog Smart Treat Dispensing Puzzle

Another fun puzzle for your dog to solve. Simply hide treats underneath the bones and your dog must figure out how to retrieve them. Give your dog challenges because a bored dog is more likely to be hyper and have behavior problems.

Furbo Dog Camera

Last but not least a gift for you and for your dog. This camera is the best for checking on your fur baby. With video to your phone and 2 way audio you can speak to your pup while away. The best part though is your can remotely toss treats to your dog while you are anywhere. Buy this now and save $100 too.

Let me know in the comments what kind of dog you have and what their favorite toy is!

How to clean your bedroom when the mess is overwhelming!

If you have ever had a bedroom so messy that you didn't even know where to start then this post is for you!
There are many reasons your room could become a mess. You could have too much stuff, you may have had friends over, you might have been going out and created a whirlwind of clothes and lastly, depression can cause your room to spiral out of control.
Regardless of how it got to this state here is the easiest way I have found to clean your room quickly and efficiently.

The first step is to make your bed.
This may seem simple but the first thing you want to do is put anything that is on your bed onto the floor and make your bed. We can worry about washing the sheets later if you need to but this will give you a clean space to work off of.

Next, separate your clean and dirty clothes.
The next thing you want to do is separate your clothes into 2 piles. Grab a clothes basket for your dirty stuff and put your clean clothes on the bed. Now wash the dirty stuff and put the clean stuff away!

Pick up your dishes and garbage.
Chances are if you have been feeling down then you probably have been living in your room. This means you probably have lots of garbage and dishes laying around so take these to be washed and throw out your garbage .

Pick up clutter.
Grab another basket and put things inside that do not belong in your room into this basket. When you are done you can either put this basket outside your room to tackle later or put the items aways now.

Next step is to put away the remaining items.
Now everything remaining in your room should belong in there. So pick these items up and put them away.

Last step!!
Since you are almost finished you might as well quickly wipe down surface and either vacuum or sweep. If you really want a Swiffer wet jet will finish off your now clean room.

I hope this motivates you to clean your room by breaking it into easy steps.

Feel free to comment any room cleaning tips below!

Ultimate Costa Rica Tour

I've been day dreaming of travelling everyday during this past year and can't wait to go again. I want to take you guys on my favorite trip with me and explore the beautiful country of Costa Rica

First I'll say I travelled with a tour group during school which was EF Tours. We took the 10 day Touch of The Tropics tour.

We flew from Toronto into San Salvador, which was pretty neat and then to Costa Rica.

We arrived in San Jose and spent the night in a hotel and the next day we were off to a Coffee Plantation and to explore the Arenal region.

I'm not a big coffee drinker but they are known for their coffee beans so I had to try and buy some to bring home! Definetely a very strong taste.

Next we explored the Arenal region, which includes Arenal Volcano National Park.

This volcano was once the most active in Costa Rica, but for the past few years has been rather quiet!

After this we went back and enjoyed some much needed food which of course involved Plantains, they look similar to bananas and were always fried.

The next day we woke up early had some delicious breakfast and we're off to Lake Arenal ( the water surrounding that volcano) to do some kayaking. I discovered I much prefer kayaking alone then with a partner 😂.

We then travelled to La Fortuna waterfall, now to get to this beautiful place is no easy task. There is approximately 530 stairs you must go down before reaching the bottom which is a lot after a morning of Kayaking. Despite this the view at the bottom is both amazing and relaxing.

One of the places we stayed which was absolutely beautiful!

Next we went to the Hot springs which just were not what I was expecting and probably my least favorite part of the trip.

The following day we traveled to Monteverde. This day just involved alot of travelling. We did stop at a local school though and I would love to post pictures but I will respect their privacy as I didn't obtain permission.

After going back to our hotel, we got up early again to go zipline at Aventura Canopy Tours. This place has the longest zipline in Latin America measuring at 1590. I got scared halfway through so did not make it to the longest zipline and I definitely regret it.

Next up we went horseback riding in Monteverde. It was absolutely beautiful and I love horses so this was a real treat.

We then went on a crocodile jungle safari boat cruise. This felt a bit too close for comfort but was cool to see so many crocodiles.
My favorite day was visiting Manuel Antonio national park. It was quite the walk again to get to the beach but the sand was beautiful and the water was super warm. The only thing that slightly ruined this day was the extreme heat and the hour long walk both ways.

We did quite a few other things on this trip, we explored some more forests, like the Santa Elena Cloud Forest. We went to some markets and explored some towns. We got to explore and relax in San José.
We spent one evening at a Folklore night which was alot of fun and lastly we went white water rafting I can't swim so I was a bit scared but it was all fun.

That's the end of my Ultimate Costa Rica Tour. I hope this gives you some ideas if you ever plan a trip or if you are a teacher or student look into group trips with EF Tours. They offer fun filled trips that include everything for a very good price!

My top apps

The Google Play store has many apps, some good and some not so good. I also have a ton of apps on my phone some I use daily and some I forget I have.

I put together a list of my favorite apps and the best part is they are all FREE!

Facebook- This is my most used app, definetly useful to connect with friends and see what people are upto especially during these crazy times

Instagram- I love taking pictures and I love seeing other people's pictures. Instagram has way less drama than Facebook and is a great way to discover new places, foods, fashion and more

Pinterest - I use Pinterest like I use Google, you can search up anything and everything and be bombarded with beautiful images and links to information.

Lightroom- This is my top app for editing photos. I still adjust my photos manually but lately I've been getting into presets and there are thousands of beautiful preset packages on the internet.

Among Us - I started playing this game and now I'm hooked. I seen it first on Tik Tok but you basically just maneuver your little guy around either being a crewmates and completing tasks or being an Imposter and sabotaging or killing others.

Waze- This is by far my favorite navigation app. I like how simple it is yet users can insert details like cops ahead or nearby accidents.

My shift planner- I'm a nurse so this scheduling app made it super easy to insert my 6 week rotation schedule in over the year. It's also super easy to add or remove shifts if needed.

Vsco- I use this editing app more for selfies. It is easier to correct bad tones in skin colors and what not.

Snapchat - Of course Snapchat is on here. I communicate with lots of friends via this. Which usually just involves sending them weird pictures of things I am doing.

Tik Tok - This is the app that has destroyed my sleep schedule. I loved Vine, so of course now I find myself endlessly scrolling watching 100's of videos on here.

Amazon Shopping - 2020 is the year where I hate go shopping. Thankfully Amazon has literally everything so I can order anything from the comfort of my bed!

Flipp- For when I do have to leave the house I love to use flipp. It basically has all the recent flyers for all the stores near me and I can just search what I'm looking for and can find the cheapest place to buy.

Easy Greek Chicken Bowl

Today I'm gonna share how I made this simple yet delicious meal.
First things first , I'm gonna tell you I do most of my cooking with no measuring.I will try my best to tell you approximately how much I used.

List of items you'll need
Boneless chicken breasts
Olives
Cherry tomatoes
Tzatziki dip
Rice ( I just used white)
Red onion
Feta cheese
Cucumber
Butter
Olive oil
Spices

The first thing I did was cook the chicken. I cut up one breast into cubes then put in a frying pan with a tiny bit of olive oil. I then seasoned it. I just used garlic powder, parsley and salt and pepper and cooked until fully done then placed it aside on a plate

While the chicken was cooking I prepped my veggies. I cut up a quarter of a red onion and a quarter of a cucumber.  I put about a teaspoon of butter into the frying pan and cooked the onions first until the were soft. I then added the olives, cucumber and tomatoes on low heat.

Lastly I cooked the rice according to the directions on the box. I added everything into a bowl and topped it with some feta cheese and some tzatziki dip.

Delicious and simple to make.

Hello Fresh Review

Hey guys, today I wanted to talk a little bit about Hello Fresh, the meal kit delivery service.

This is great for people just learning to cook or for people wanting to try out new things.

One of the reasons I loved Hello Fresh was its ease of use. I was able to select which meals I wanted and then the following week everything I needed to prepare the meals arrived in a cute box and individually packaged bags.

I try alot of different recipes and one of the worst things is having to do the grocery shopping. You end up buying things you most likely only need a tiny amount of and that you possibly won't use again.

Inside this bag everything comes individually wrapped which is one of the only downside as it is alot of waste but it makes prep easy.

Each recipe has a recipe card which includes 5-6 easy steps to help you prepare the meal. Here I decided to try out the Toasted Brown Rice Bowl. Above is what I started with and below is the final result. I got the kit that contained 2 servings but was able to split in 3 so below is one serving!

All in all id give this about a 8/10, using a coupon code I got my first box for under $25 which contained 3 recipes for 2 people. The boxes are a bit expensive if you don't use codes and I would also take away some points due to the waste but would recommend people to try atleast once.
Try Hello Fresh today and save $80 using promo code AFF80
Here are some pictures of the finished product of the 2 other recipes I received.

Top spots to explore when travelling to Prince Edward Island

There is nothing I love more than getting in my car on a warm summer day and driving to wherever I end up. I thought I'd compile a list of my favourite places so you could visit them too.
( Btw these are in no specific order)

    Cavendish Beach

Even though I have lived here for 25 years this was my first year to this beach. Living on an island means you're surrounded by beautiful beaches and this one has got to be one of the nicest.

The Grist Mill

This place is super cool, it's located in Hunter River just around the corner from the gas station. This was another first for me this summer. Definitely, a cool spot to check out though. Just be careful as it is private property ( AKA don't go pas the signs 😋)

The Bottle Houses

Writing this I've discovered I went to a lot of places this summer. These are all made of glass bottles and you can walk inside and explore. It is located in Cape Egmont and is such a neat spot. I'll just insert more pictures as it is too hard to describe how beautiful this place really is.

Avonlea Village

This spot is a classic PEI tourist stop. A couple years ago it was home to a small "village" from the Anne of Green Gables books but now it has been redone using the original buildings into a collection of gift shops and restaurants. Not as cool as seeing characters from the book walking around but a cute spot to check out! Also found in Cavendish so you can hit up some more Anne destinations.

Greenwich National Park
This place is beautiful. It is definitely quite the hike to get here, (especially if you take the wrong trail first) but the floating boardwalk near the end is amazing. Lots of sand dunes and another beautiful beach at the end.

I hope you enjoyed all these beautiful places that I love to explore. Looking forward to a part 2 as I grow my list even bigger 💗

Who am I?

Welcome to my blog ♡♡

I'm just a girl from a small city who figured I'd give this a shot to share what I love with others.

Some of the things I love to do is read, travel, write , draw, attempt to make crafts and spend time with friends!

This year has been especially challenging for many of us! Trying to cope with multiple changes yet continue on as normal in a world that none of us recognize.

I think one of the biggest challenges is finding a balance between pandemic life and accepting that other social issues still exist.

The reason I started to blog is to help alleviate any stress and anxiety by gaining control over something in life. I've always loved writing so figured I'd combine the two.

I'll be writing about everything from my daily routines to cool places I love to go.

Anyways enough about me, follow along with me on my blogging journey!
